Last night I dreamed. In my dream I am at home, sitting with my mother in the kitchen. The kitchen is the center of our house. It is where we make our meals, sit together and talk. It is where we talk about things that are happening in our lives. About things as deep as how to decide if your love is true to things like what movie we are going to watch. I am sitting on one side of the table, on the old warm wooden bench my dad made, and my mom sits on its twin opposite me. We smile and cup our hands around mugs full of hot chocolate.
